What To Know About Upcoming Subaru Evs

While all of our new Subaru models are fantastic, there’s one model in particular that fans can’t wait to get their hands on. We’re talking about Subaru’s first all-electric vehicle: the Subaru Solterra. While details are still scarce, here’s what we know so far about this highly anticipated EV.

Driving Range and Charge Time

According to Subaru, you’ll be able to go up to 220 miles in the Subaru Solterra when the battery is completely charged. Plus, with a DC Fast Charging station, you’ll be able to get up to an 80 percent charge in less than an hour.

Power and Performance

The Subaru Solterra comes with two electric motors that combine to produce 215 horsepower and 248 lb.-ft. of torque. All-wheel drive comes standard, as do a number of driving modes – Normal, Eco, and Power – so you can customize your ride.

Off-Road Ability

An electric vehicle that shines when the pavement ends? That’s the Subaru Solterra. Another standard driving mode in the Subaru Solterra is X-Mode, which augments traction by sending power to the wheels that need it most. You will also get descent assist and 8.3 inches of ground clearance.

Tech and Safety

The Subaru Solterra comes with many tech features, including Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto™ integration and a wireless phone charger. It also has several advanced safety systems, such as:
