The 2024 Subaru Outback comes in a massive nine-trim family, and you’ll have two engines to choose from. The standard power plant is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder rated at 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque, while the upgraded 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine outputs 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Both engines mate with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and symmetrical all-wheel drive (AWD).
